ABOUT THE BOOK

This is a tale of what happens when love starts with a lie. Running from a relationship that lasted way too long, Dana Ann Smith leaves her native New York City and strikes out for Los Angeles, the perfect place, she thinks, to start over with a new atmosphere, a new job, and a new man. When she meets Vincent Calvary Browne, Jr., he seems like a dream come true: handsome, hardworking with a good job as an aerospace technician, and sexy in a strong, silent kind of a way. But that silence also means he's not letting Dana in on a few important facts about his life. When Dana's former lover and Vince's ex-wife suddenly re-appear, it's a recipe for disaster. The two have a lot of explaining to do. They must come clean about their pasts, and open their hearts and souls to each other with a new honesty. Only then will they have a fighting chance at a future together.
