| ABOUT THE AUTHOR |
| Hans Maarten van den Brink lives in Holland. He was born in 1956 and is Editor-in-Chief of VPRO, Holland's premier TV network. He has also written widely about the culture of the Netherlands, the USA and bullfighting. On the Water is his first novel. |
