Channa Wickremesekera was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka in 1967. He obtained a PhD at Monash University, Australia in Asian History. He has published four books so far, Walls, Distant Worriors (fiction), Best Black Troops In The World, and Kandy At War (non fiction).
